Gorilla challenge is an annual event in which participants must achieve the most possible vertical elevation gain while running outdoors. Recognition is awarded as follows:
Gorilla Bronze – 7,500m
Gorilla Silver – 10,000m
Gorilla Gold – 12,500m
Gorilla Platinum – 15,000m
Winner is the person with the most elevation in the month. This year the challenge runs from 18/08/2026 through to 18/09/2026

- All efforts must be on foot.
- All efforts must be outdoors.
- Maximum two efforts per day.
